This was our 4th trip to Cabin Creekwood, yet again, we had a wonderful, relaxing time.
On our 1st full day, we hiked off into the woods, most of which was established trail – except near the turn-around point. We cam across some water, most of the surface was frozen. The farther we hiked up, it became more of a frozen waterfall. Very beautiful, but strenuous hiking.
The next day we hiked Crabtree Falls – to the parking lot on the other side of the meadow and back. Might sound like I’m bragging – all that hiking. Well, the 3rd day we were all so stiff and sore that we remained at the cabin. That will teach us not to stretch – ha ha.
No animals on this trip – just too cold for many of them? Great weather for a fire, though – we used the firepit 3 out of 4 nights.
Well – we started the year off here at the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed it (stiffness aside) – Truly a happy new year!
All the best,

and don’t forget Thorn! (our four legged kid)
